WORKSHOP 1: TROUBLESHOOT YOUR WALKING : Friday 24 April: 7-9 PM
“From Stiff to Strong: Overcome Pain, Improve Posture, Move with Confidence”
This effective and enlightening 2-hour indoor WalkActive workshop is designed to address the real barriers to better walking: from tight shoulders and back pain to joint discomfort and poor posture.
You will learn the science, feel the difference, and leave moving more freely and confidently.
Joanna Hall, Founder of The WalkActive Method, will share the latest scientific insights and practical WalkActive solutions for common challenges as described above. You’ll leave with a personal plan to keep your walking effective and enjoyable all season long.

“Build Stability, balance and Strength for Every Step”
In this in-depth 4 hour WalkActive workshop, Joanna Hall reveals the science and strategy behind how your core drives your walking strength, posture, and balance — especially vital in the winter season.
You will learn how to activate your core effectively through practical, easy-to-do exercises you can apply immediately to your everyday walking. Joanna will share with you her proven Core Confident Series that has dramatic benefits for your walk and stability - without a single sit up in sight!
You’ll also explore how to transfer these skills outdoors for improved stability, stride efficiency, and confidence. With a guided success template and seasonal planning session, you’ll leave with everything you need to maintain strength, energy, and motivation throughout the months ahead.
